I was working with a C-Suite executive client this week – we were talking about how professional and personal development does not just stop because you reach the top. Ongoing leadership development is a journey to keep the best, quite frankly the best. But how do you know you’re spending your time and money on the right leadership development programs?

The authors posit that leaders with growth, learning, deliberative and promotion mindsets into your leadership development programs can help you achieve a better return on your development dollar and increase the impact to your business performance. And using Microsoft’s growth mindset as our real-world case study in action, Satya Nadella’s concentrated effort to shift leadership culture to a growth mindset led the company’s market cap and stock price to more than triple. Now those are results worth talking about!
